It was so nice to see the sun yesterday afternoon, after a very stormy weekend. When I got home from my after work bike ride, I ran out and snapped few pix of our house with the trees all green.
I was a few minutes late, so the setting sun was on the trees, but the house was in the shade. Maybe I'll try again sometime.

Great picture. It is always fun to see the neighborhoods we used to live in. Is the additional 3 feet of fence on the top to keep the dogs in or the goats out? Thanks for posting.
It's mostly to keep the dogs in, but it and the locks on the gates also contribute in some small way to keep miscreants out. There were two breakin / armed robberies in our area during the wee hours of the morning yesterday.
Man that gate looks faintly familiar, but I can't figure it out. Just where is "our area". It does look like an "older home", ie. of my vintage from the '60's at least.

This is on the main road in Hato, where there are three TWR houses on the east side of the road. This is the one closest to the WEB power plant. The Flamings were living in it when I first came to Bonaire I think. It must have been one of the first houses in the neighborhood, because I recall Bob Flaming showing me a picture once of this house with a whole lot of nothing around it.
