The last echoes of the Christmas Carols have barely died away here on Bonaire, when other seasonal sounds are beginning to appear.
It's fireworks season on Bonaire. New Years Eve is a big blowout in more ways than one. To help get in the spirit of things, I've posted a video clip of the monster firecracker string (tapeit) from the Napa / Budget Marine parking lot on New Years Eve of last year.
