The International Bible Church of Bonaire held its first Sunday service in the High School auditorium last week. I recently posted a picture showing the location of the High School relative to some other downtown Bonaire landmarks. To make sure that no one gets lost, Walt parks his pickup with this sign at the end of the school driveway. The school auditorium was perfect for our group, and had great cross ventilation to keep us cool.
A big thank you goes to Lucy for these pictures!

This doesn't have to do with your post, but i feel compelled to say Thanks.
I visited Bonaire about 4 years ago traveling witha group of divers from Baltimore, MD. I came back and raved about how nice the island was (not just the diving!) that my scared-of-traveling-by-air family decided to go. I wound up bringing my girlfriend and got married at the Lion's Den beach. We've been anxiously waiting our return this august.
We've both been day dreaming about owning a little plot of land with an 'off the grid' home to vacation to twice a year, but haven't been able to collect the funds.
Your blog is keeping hope alive... such a unique island.
Thanks again!
