I've just finished building a super neat, low tech, tracking drive from a Stanley hinge and a few screws and nuts, as described in the Aug. 2010 issue of Sky and Telescope.  I tried it out last night and it seems to work. The coral was abundant, the fish were ok, and we saw a bunch of turtles. There is a lot of water movement along here and lots of soft corals and sea fans flapping around.We saw some cool schools of fish. The event starts at 5am at White Slave and everyone walks, cycles, runs etc. along the west coast, 30 kilometers, all the way to Rincon. By 7:30 there are lots of people walking past our house in Hato. Here is a vido clip I shot on my way to church at 8am.
